The Malenfer company was founded in 1983 in Villers-Farlay, by Maxime Malenfer, a small village in the Val d'Amour in the Jura. Initially specializing in interior and exterior carpentry, the business soon opened its field of expertise to partition walls and false ceilings.

Quickly, Maxime is joined by his wife and brother. The company grows in importance and develops its reputation around strong values: "Listening and Knowledge". The collaboration with a Dole architecture studio opens the business to the tertiary and industrial sectors. These new opportunities confirm the professionalism of the company, which saw its workshops expand significantly between 1992 and 2007. Equipment was modernized, staff improved, the Malenfer company gained regional and even national influence. In 2009 Hugo and Robin, the founder's sons, also joined the family business. In January 2018 Hugo Malenfer became CEO of the company.

Precisely in this perspective of continuous evolution Malenfer contacted Finiture for the installation of a finishing system for windows and doors.

The plant is made up of a Power&Free conveyor with 24 3m bars, with a push-pull system that allows the number of bars to be varied both in line and in accumulation, thus obtaining very high flexibility and versatility in managing the plant. Then follows a closed cabin with a vertical suction wall, already present and around which the system has been built, and a Superjet impregnation tunnel, the paint is sprayed by three ramps of nozzles and the excess part is collected in a tank and recirculated using a pump.

Between the flow-coating and the spray booth there is a buffer which performs the double function of a dripping area for the newly impregnated windows and doors during the impregnation cycle, and of a storage buffer before the booth during the spraying cycles. For spraying, an anthropomorphic robot with 6 controlled axes plus an independent half axis is installed which allows any trajectory to be executed with extreme precision. Equipped with an automatic color change system with washing for the management of 4 colours: the presence of a buffer before the booth therefore guarantees that there are always bars ready for entry into the booth without downtime, thus optimizing production times as best as possible. cycle.

And in such an important moment for everything that concerns sustainability, the plant is completed by a processing water clarifier where, through a chemical process, the clarified and filtered water falls into a tank located at the base of the machine, from where it can be taken and reused for washing.
