Coating plant for doors: a functional and scalable configuration
The system is built around a Power&Free overhead conveyor, a proven and versatile solution that enables suspended and controlled movement of doors throughout the treatment phases. This conveyor allows accumulation, separation and flow regulation of the parts, adapting perfectly to mixed cycles and managed interruptions.
In terms of paint application, the plant includes:
- A manual dry spray booth (DRY-A), with advanced filtration, ideal for traditional spraying and designed for easy access, environmental safety and simple maintenance. The structure is ready for the partial air recirculation system and can easily accommodate painting robots — in line with current trends towards hybrid and scalable systems. Future-ready for automatic conversion.
- Two additional DRY-A dry booths, currently used in manual mode.
For drying, the plant features a Pro Dry forced ventilation tunnel equipped with the LDP (Low Pressure Drying) system and axial fans, ensuring homogeneous and controlled drying. This reduces cycle times and improves finish quality — avoiding deformations or surface defects, even with water-based products.
Supervisor: control and customisation
The entire plant is managed by Supervisor, Finiture’s proprietary software for centralised and customisable control. Based on RFID technology, Supervisor enables:
- Real-time monitoring of the status and position of each piece;
- Configuration of custom painting cycles (timing, products, number of coats);
- Remote and multi-user plant management via an intuitive, scalable interface.
