SCS, a 3 axis Cartesian robot, has been developed for windows automatic painting and it is particularly indicated for small production lots and for installations in small places, because its working speed is comparable to the human one.
This robot works following the shape of the piece to be painted exactly simulating human movements.
The pieces to be painted can be random hung, as an optical reader scans them and surveys their shape, their dimensions and their position.
The operator can memorize different painting programs which the robot automatically matches according to the surveyed shapes.
This system is extremely flexible because the operator can set many programs for managing and changing the application speed, the spray gun jet, the number of passages, the sides to be painted and colour changing.
SCS uses an air-mixed spray system with electrostatic technology, with an isolated box where the paint drum is stored.
